  ①The temperature of the rollers in the heating furnace is too high. This situation mostly occurs in the first two furnaces of glass that have just been used in the tempering furnace. In this case, you can appropriately increase the pressure of the heat balance blowing, or reduce the empty furnace time to ensure continuous glass production;

  ②The amount of SO2 gas used is too large. As a protective gas for glass, if SO2 is used too much or too frequently, it will cause the glass surface to appear gray.

  ① The wind pressure is too high during the quenching process. This high-pressure, high-speed airflow blowing on the near-softened hot glass will aggravate the stress spots of the tempered glass. This situation can be avoided by adjusting the wind pressure parameters;

  ②When the glass has just entered the cooling room from the heating chamber and has begun to blow and cool, the swing of the wind grille or the rotation of the roller table is stopped, causing the wind nozzle of the wind grille to blow on only one part of the glass. When this happens, the swing of the wind grid or the synchronization of the rotation of the roller and the blowing should be restored in time;

  ③When the cooling chamber started to blow and cool, the distance between the nozzle of the air grille and the glass was too close. When this happens, the height of the wind grid can be appropriately increased by adjusting the parameters without affecting the particle size of the glass and other quality requirements.

  The iridescent phenomenon of tempered glass is an optical phenomenon. During the forming process of float glass, harmful substances such as oxygen and water enter the tin bath, which will oxidize with tin at high temperature to form SnO and SnO2. Among them, Sn2+ and Sn4+ penetrate into the lower surface of the float glass through tin liquid, and A very thin tin-containing layer rich in Sn2+ and Sn4+ is formed. When this kind of float glass with a high tin infiltration rate is tempered, after the glass is heated in the tempering furnace, the SnO on its surface is oxidized to SnO2, and its volume increases, resulting in tiny wrinkles on the glass surface. Under the irradiation of light, interference of light occurs. Therefore, the iridescent phenomenon of tempered glass is not only related to the quality of the float glass as the original glass, but also related to the tempering process. In the glass tempering production, in addition to selecting high-quality float glass as the original sheet, the heating temperature and heating time parameters of the tempering furnace must be adjusted to adapt to the actual conditions of different original sheets of glass.

  The white path phenomenon of tempered glass is caused by slight abrasion on the surface of the glass. For the upper and lower surfaces of the glass, the heating method in the heating furnace is different. The upper surface mainly relies on radiation, while the lower surface relies on conduction (the term "conduction" is provided by the industry encyclopedia) and radiation. Heat together. When the glass enters the initial stage of the heating furnace, the lower surface of the glass will obtain a higher temperature than the upper surface in the same time due to the combined effect of the two heating methods. In severe cases, the glass will bend upwards, and at the same time, due to the friction between the lower surface of the glass and the roller table, the phenomenon of white channels will appear.

  In order to solve this problem, we can solve it in the following 4 ways:

  1. By adjusting the heating parameters, appropriately lower the temperature of the lower part of the heating furnace. If necessary, reduce the power of the lower part;

  2. Increase the temperature of the upper part of the heating furnace accordingly;

  3. When the white channel appears in the middle of the glass, the heating balance value can be increased. When the white channel appears on the edge, the heating balance value can be reduced or the heating curve can be changed;

  4. Continuous production must be done during the production process to avoid letting the furnace run without load.

  Although the scratch on the surface of tempered glass is a defect of appearance quality, it will destroy the uniform distribution of the surface stress of the glass and cause the mechanical strength of the glass to decrease. There are usually three reasons for this phenomenon:

  1. There is a hard foreign body stuck on the roller. When this happens, the temperature of the furnace must be lowered, and the foreign objects on the rollers must be cleaned;

  2. The ceramic roller or the cooling roller slips. In this case, check the transmission of the roller one by one, tighten the transmission or repair the damaged roller;

  3. Broken glass may be stuck at the upper and lower wind grilles. In this case, check the wind grill and thoroughly remove the broken glass stuck in the wind grill.

Individual pits are distributed in a star-like manner, which is caused by the unclean surface of the film loading table or the roller table, or the unclean roller table under the wind grid.
